Started out as a way to spend some quality time with loved ones between Thanksgiving and Xmas. Hoped for a taste of snow flurries. Ended up as a harrowing ride down the mountain after we got snowed in, trying to beat the second leg of an unexpected winter snowstorm. Ben's Toyota Tundra, wife and 3 kids as passengers, slammed into a guardrail when he slid across the steep road down the mountain, with Dad and crew close behind. After some adjustments to the 4wd transmissions, both cars safely arrived at the foot of the mountain. High drama and another great memory....absolutely beautiful snowy mountain cabin. Once in a lifetime event....Thanks, Ben and Michelle, for the 4 day high...Love, Rick, Michele, and Mandy
