All the reviews of this product focus solely on internet streaming. WHAT ABOUT PLAYING CONTENT OVER FROM LOCAL NETWORK FROM A NAS! or even a usb drive.

Yes its intel chipset is capable of running H.264 1080p content. And is able to output 5.1 surround.

@MobiousBlack i no but the boxee look like a good product but when you got a ps3 equip of a blu ray player there is no need for boxee. does the boxee play aac 5.1 with h.264 ??

That's not what I meant, it can download movie information, movie posters, plot summaries, actor information, director, etc for all your movies. Search for boxee movie library on YouTube and you'll see what I mean.
