  • If Mego had survived, they probably wouldve been bought out by Hasbro like Kenner was

  • @Captmiloman Kenner made a ton of money off SW toys. I wonder what happened to Kenner anyhow...?

  • Was the cornfield anywhere in the vicinity of Bermuda?

  • Haha no! :)

  • @frodovader In 1985, General Mills spun off its Kenner and Parker toy divisions to form Kenner Parker Toys, Inc. Kenner Parker was acquired by Tonka in 1987. Under Tonka management, Kenner Products was reconstituted as a division.

Tonka (including Kenner) was purchased by the toy company Hasbro in mid-1991. Hasbro closed the Cincinnati offices of Kenner in 2000, and Kenner's product lines were merged into Hasbro's. IMO- MEGO Toys were the BEST

  • ....I WANNA FREEBASE COCAINE

  • Action Jackson was small in size, puny in stature, and somewhat cheaply made. I don't recall him having any cool firearms or anything. AJ wasn't even close to being in GI Joe's league. In fact, AJ wasn't even nearly as good as Big Jim. Action had a pretty catchy song though. My mother once told me I would sing it in my sleep...

  • That's the CREEPIEST announcer's voice I've ever heard on a toy commercial. LOL
