HST Powercar 43170 starts its Paxman VP185 engine to prepare to leave Swansea and head for London Paddington. This powercar was the last to use a VP185 with FGW, and has now gone to Brush for MTU.
They should never stop making these trains! Never! The best train ever created. Not too fast like in Japan or France and a lovely roaring engine aswell. Perfect for tarin lovers like me.
@HSTJames2 until the emmisions regs come into force then they will be MTU :)

43167, 43168 & 43169 have had the lot aswell. With 43167 been a valenta again prior to getting its MTU.

Ive seen and been on the 43 170 and i love that it takes forever to pick up revs ashame its a MTU now
