I am Italian, and I say that the music of Ennio Morricone, the Italian words are a sweet dream. And the voice of Chloe takes us to heaven.

Interesting bit of history of this recording/performance: Chloe/Celtic Woman is performing "Nella Fantasia" ("In My Fantasy"), which is Sarah Brightman's lyrics added to"Gabriel's Oboe" by Ennio Morricone (part of the soundtrack to the movie "The Mission.") The irony is the fact that one-time Celtic Woman Hayley Westenra added her own lyrics to the same song -- at Morricon's request (?) -- thus creating the song titled "Whispers In A Dream," which was featured on her album "Paradiso."

Thumbs up if you wanted to see the original after the Korea's got Talent video. :P

What bookkeeper57 was saying is that Ennio Morricone wrote the music, but did not write the lyrics. Both Sarah Brightman and Celtic Woman got permission to use his music. If Celtic Woman had not gotten permission, the song would not be on the CD/DVD.

The great thing about "Nella Fantasia" is that although it is simple, it is the way of executing it that makes it seem more than not-so-jumpy intervals and elongated notes. Chloe's pure voice with clear articulation makes the piece atmospheric and is very nicely complemented by David's smooth sound. Combined with the orchestra's fluid dynamic and intonation, these harmonic wonders make the piece not just a show of noise but an observation of living music.
This is precious. :D

Why is Ennio Morricone not mentioned in this credit ?????? I mean this music is a result of the man who created it - or to put it as plainly as possible - it could not 'exist' without his grace, not the people who re-invent it or perform it. Please
give the artist ENNIO MORRICONE credit for his work.

@TheMagiAlexander They most likely have him mentioned in the guide that comes from the dvd.

@rose444100 His name needs to be mentioned here firstly alongside his work. Otherwise it seems to begrudgery and plagiarism. Standard and proper order.

@TheMagiAlexander Nothing I can do about that. But whoever has the rights of his work either him or someone else don't seem to have a problem with it cause they would have changed it if they had gotten a call or something.
