2000 WS6 (SLP Loudmouth Exhaust) vs. 1997 GTP (3.5 pulley, 2.5" downpipe, CAI)

WS6 ran 13.4 w/ previous owner (Fall 2007), GTP ran 13.9 (Spring 2008)

BTW, boost gauge wasn't connected

  • I ate a can of corn yesterday...

  • 3.2 down a 3.0 is about a 20-25 WHP gain... just throwing that out there.

  • Just wondering but why did you go with a 2.5" downpipe and not a 3"?

  • @KoolCordell Yeah from a roll....off the line the GTP would roast it.

  • @Camaromandave98 so true, i love the f-body, w-body combo. my buddy has a modded N/A grand prix and a T/A and i have a modded impala and a camaro

  • @HellenKeller9 i ate a can of brown beans... i regret that decision

  • V8 wins again LOL

  • nice cars

  • But dude wtf is up with getting a 2.5" dp? Why would you not get a 3"? BTW if you ran a 13.9 with those mods you have a fast ass car or can launch insanely good

  • @GXPFiend

I respectfully disagree. Completely stock and 3.5" yes thats pretty bad. But with a dp and cai I believe he's alright. At least he's not one of the idiots that runs a 3.4 on an otherwise stocker. I would recommend throwing on AL 605's and a 180* tstat though, cheap and kill a lil KR.

  • A 3.5 on your mods is a recipe for disaster. Even on the Gen III blower which can take a little bit more then the Gen V.
