  • In addition I continually read and reread all the standard works, including at least a dozen complete readings of the Book of Mormon. You may still not choose to see me as a credible "Mormon"; I just wanted to make sure you had all the information so you could make your own decision regarding that!

  • What makes this guy mormon.. well let me answer that. I was born into the covenant, I was baptized when I was 8. I was the deacons, teachers, and priests quorum president. I paid a full tithe and held a temple recommend from the age of 12. I served a full time mission and held nearly every leadership position available to missionaries. Though i knew I was gay, I remained celibate for nearly a decade years post mission and attended church every week of my life until about a year ago.

  • He served in Culiacan Mexico -- we weren't ever companions but worked together often -- he was a zone leader and an awesome missionary. Everyone loved Elder Johnsen - he was great.

  • YOU ARE SO GORGEOUS. INSIDE AND OUT.

You are one of those guys that makes me wish I was NOT a female and instead a man that is gay. Sometimes I think I am a gay man stuck inside a females body. I want gay guys. I love Oscar Wilde and I am deathly attracted to you, Clark.

  • @badad4444 wow, didn't catch that. thanks.

  • @roadsideflowers You assume brian8793 is straight. His post is evidence otherwise.

  • Fagatronic might be stolen by the Church of Scientology, you better copyright it.

  • @roadsideflowers I have no problem with this guy being gay, and I will love him just as any other person I meet. I will not judge him, and his sexual orientation doesn't change my life, one bit.

The only problem I have is with gay marriage. It has to do with adoption, not the marriage part. The State has no right telling The Church who they can or cannot give preference to when recommending a home for a child in the Church.(First Amendment)

    I'm for civil unions.

  • @roadsideflowers Yeah, it's a sexual addiction, imo. Just like masturbation. It can be conquered. The Greek word for Passion is "to suffer," and it's very true. There is much more to life than sex. Lusting after another person is a distraction that can keep you from accomplishing everything you want to do in this short life here on earth.

I believe sodomy is a sin. I believe in the pre-mortal existence. I don't believe God would send someone down, only to condemn them.

    Peace : )

  • @brian8793 Please rephrase your words. Addiction? Are you addicted to the opposite sex? You can joke about it and say yes, or you can be honest and say you feel hardwired to it.

I've grown up mormon. I know sort of what your mindset is, just from what you've said. Know that "spirit" you feel? It's a psychological reaction to heavy positive/repetitive emotional stimuli. That's it. You can get that feeling from anything that meets that circumstance.

  • :D Faggatronic!

  • @shackashackado So when did you fight off the devils of homosexuality?

  • religion is stupid, just a way to avoid responsibility.

  • There are gays who are working at overcomming the unatural demons of homosexuality... which they allowed through freedom of choice to torment them...that are being assisted by members of the church who care... to overcome this perversion ...but...if one persists in being gay and sees no wrong in it.. then that person is not a Mormon and in time could very well find him/her self excomunicated.
