  • You wanna know the fastest way to get rid of a litigious society? Allow the Judge to rule that a frivolous lawsuit is malicious and force the plaintiff lawyers to repay the defendant's lawyers' fees in triplicate, where half of the recouped money goes to the defendant ... that'll get rid of a litigious society in a hurry, while still allowing worthy lawsuits to go through ...

*lol* Mine would too, but I don't sit that close.

  • "Only fools and horses"...they're the ones that brought the litigation culture to brittain...remember the episode when their uncle "fell"down the basement ?? :D:D

  • Which alternative do you favour then?

    a) Using the law is a rich man's game

    b) We all pay yet more taxes for Legal Aid

    ?

  • Um how about asking your MP to change the law...? There's nothing wrong with people _using_ the law. That's what it's there for. If you think the itself law is unfair it needs _changing_. The reason we have a lot of personal injury claims is that the law is too generous to the claimants and NWNF makes it easy for cases which tick the legal boxes to go to court.

PS - Judges already have the power to ban litigous claimants and any weak case will just get thrown out at a summary hearing.

  • No win no fee gotta go Wah hah hah hah

  • Damnit ... hate it when Youtube doesn't post your comments for five minutes, you click it again and it goes through twice ... oh well ...
