"Get Up!" - Lee Ann Womack Live, 1997

This was shot at Country Thunder USA in Lake Geneva, WI in 1997. We used 3 cameras to cover the stage, which was shown on a giant LED screen stage right. I directed many, many acts in the 3 years I worked at CT, but this show with Lee Anne was my favorite.
I think Lee Anne was on her first US tour for her first album since she was during the day, and played a 45 min set. This was one of my first festival video directing jobs and I felt very lucky to work with an artist like her.
In fact she blew me away with her voice, positive energy, and professionalism I went out and bought her cd the next week, and have bought every single cd since. No surpise that she became a star, and has proven to be on of the most genuine voices in modern coutry music.
