@Mortez92 it does not hurt. you are asleep and there is nothing to worry about. it's quick and painless. you can go home an hour after.

This guy didn't vomit at all?! I don't know how he did that. I was vomiting all the time. The other problem is that one may think he's choking and panic. So just remember to breathe during the whole procedure (breathing also suppresses vomiting). And don't squeeze your throat but relax it.

Ive had 2 colonoscopys' 1st time I woke up crying..I have adhesions and damage from endometriosis..anyway 2nd time I was out like a lite, no pain..my poor Mom and Grandmom had this (down the throat) done more than once..after 1st time they both asked 4 more sedation and got it..only a sadist would leave u alert for this procedure..in this day and age u don't need to suffer..get another doc if 1st one won't put u out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! poor man!
