Episode eleven;

[Fallon hangs up phone after talking awhile]

Max: *concerned, still laying next to her in the snow* Who was it?
Fallon: *doesnt want to tell him because he knows all about how she used to like Nick btw it was him on the phone* [Looks down]
Max: It was Nick wasnt it
Fallon: Max, Im having a really great time and its not like I dont like you but Nicks brother was in this big car accident and hes in the hospital.
Max: Im sorry [trying to care, but really doesnt]
Fallon: And.... he wants me to go there now *still looking down*
Max: *tilts her face up and puts his hand under her chin* Hey, I know you were probably friends with the guy. I know how much this must mean to you. *sighs* Go.
Fallon: *knows its killing him* Thank you Max *kisses his cheek, gets up and gets to the hospital its not important how*

*gets there and sees Nick is pacing back and forth really really nervous*
Fallon: *shyly* Hi
Nick: *runs up to her and hugs her* I didnt think you would come. *you can see hes been crying*
Fallon: *theyre still in each others arms* Im sorry for being such a drama queen
Nick: Im sorry for being such a jerk
*moment of silence, and Nick is about to kiss her, but she pulls away*
Fallon:... I cant
Nick: What? why?
Fallon: I just came from my date with Max *bites lip*
Nick: *turns away and looks down* So do you like him?
Fallon: Yea
Nick; *really quiet* Oh okay I see-
Fallon: *taps him on the shoulder and he turns around all big-eyed* But not as much as I like you
Nick: Huh?
Fallon: Max is really sweet, but its impossible for him to replace you.
Nick: *big smile* Really?
Fallon: Yea.
Nick: OH MY GOSH I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT JOE!
Fallon: Oh yea! How is he? What happened?
*he motions for her to follow him to Joes room*
Nick: Well he was driving somewhere yesterday [Friday] night and this truck was driving the wrong way on the road *starts to tear up* and... it hit him....right in the front of his car head-on. Hes in a coma now. *silent*
Fallon: Oh my gosh Nick Im so sorry. *both are silent for a minute, then Fallon lifts his chin up* Hey, its going to be okay right?
Nick: *with tears in his eyes* *shrugs and looks down*
*they kiss*
[at the front of the hospital desk]
Max: *running in flustered* Hey, can you tell me where *looks at his hand, where he wrote the name* Joe Jonas is?
Desk Lady: Down that hallway sir.
Max: okay thank you. * [he begins to walk to Joes room]
