@whoahz0r there are other uses of the word legitimate, or legit, u do not need to use it in a legal way, it can be used in other variations in slang (on the streets). Yes i do know how to spell, i did not know i was writing a paper on youtube. There is no need to be writing in formal english over youtube such as this. so i will type whatever fuckin way i want and use a word in whatever sentence i want. There are definitions to other words that are not in the dicionary. Get over yourself

@CoRoSiV3 Legit has never meant cool, it is used out of definition by people who think that it means something ridiculous like that. Yes, there is no need to type in formal English on youtube, I will give you that.

However, using words outside of their proper definition defeats the purpose of language. I will not bother pursuing this argument further, because it has become increasingly apparent that you will not appeal to reason.
