tommy plays with emotions not like other guitarists

I have seen Tommy a half dozen times in various arenas playing with guitar masters of a lot of different styles from Travis to Chet to Doc Watson to Steve Morse and he always keeps up or surpasses their abilities. That is a sign of a guitar master. Pennington is a structured player, TE is a freelancing type player. Able to do about anything he wants. Amazing.

Eddie is amazing, always. <3 This song was written by Merle Travis about Mose Rager, who taught him how to play guitar. Mose Rager was my great grandfather and Eddie plays most like him than anyone else I've heard.

I worked at a TV station in Sydney in 1985 and was fortunate enough to see Tommy and Phil film a piece for the Sunday show. They were supposed to do a piece and then go, but the crew were treated to 45 min of their own brand of lunacy. The piece they were supposed to do was Rondo A La Turka....playing flat out and talking to each other!!!!!! Geniuses....genii?
