thanks! In this video it's just a digital pan but I'm working on one right now using an actual motorized tripod head.

Cool show! Is the camera motion a panning head or digital panning?

beautiful. Can I ask how you shot this? It looks like a movie - Is'nt the 20d a SLR? Can you share how you did this? Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions! I currently have a Nikon D70s and a really nice selection of lenses but I hope to upgrade to the newer D90 body soon since it not only does 720 HD video clips but also can be software controlled for doing time lapse etc.

Looks great! I've been purchasing some time lapse clips from Pond5 lately but I really need to upgrade my gear and start doing a majority of my footage myself when possible.
Again, excellent work!

hey thanks! what type of gear are you working with night now? I'd definitely recommend a 20d - they're really cheap and the quality is better than what's even necessary - plus you really don't want to be ruining your shutter life on too expensive of a camera.

Thank you so much! I saw that film freshman year of high school and I forgot the name but have always wanted to see it again! But yeah - that's the only film I've ever fallen asleep to the first time watching it and still loved it.

what camera? shutter speed length? and shot duration? every 3-5 mins?

i shot everything on a canon 20d with various different shutter speeds and intervals... but I would say most were around 5 sec shutter times with 2 seconds of interval in between.
