@oogdog90 "spend endless hours rubbing their dull [ junk ] for fun"... XD

I wouldn't bring my knives to these "professionals"

I would recommend to bye the Tormek T7 for a fraction of the price.

If you are sharpening a large number of low end knives by hand then you are a pea brain...a knife that is machine manufactured can not be properly sharpened by hand. I have operated a surface grinder for many years and the reason we use it is for precision. Some of these comments are definitely coming from people that either don't know what they are talking about or spend endless hours rubbing their dull jack knife for fun...this machine is the standard for production work.

For a few hundred bucks you could have bought all the whetstones Naniwa makes. After thousands of knives and many long hours sharpening, you'll learn what sharpening is.

Best way to sharpen high end knives is japanese whetstones in the hands of a skilled sharpener.
glad he gave us a "thumbs up" or we would have never known how well it really worked. . . i mean who needs a cutting demo when you can have a "thumbs up"?

Having that and calling yourself a Professional Sharpener is like a 3 year old on a tricycle calling himself a Professional Offroad Unicyclist Gold Medal Olympic Champion, Rocket Scientist.
