    Because they are made by indie developers who don't have a huge team of developers like EA, Activision or the big developers. It takes big companies several years to make a game, just imagine how long it would take an indie company to make one. Time is money dude and indie companies don't have the capital or the resources to make 3D polygon games like what used to be on the Dreamcast when big companies were making games for it back in 1999-2001.
