Its so beautiful to how The Presidents eyes lights up, when he looks at his wife, this is real, there no faking it. That is a man that truly adores his wife. The are a lovely couple, and their love for each other is beautiful, they are one of the most loving couple I have ever seen in the white house.

@dariamoore - Your parents sound like mine! My parents were married over 50 years until he passed away. Both sets of my grandparents were married for decades until one passed away. All parents and grandparents are God fearing, BLACK, hard working, and loved their spouses and children. This is MY world. The Huxtables and Winslow families of television depict the REAL world of solid black families.

I am african-american and has been married for 26 years and my husband and I are still in love to date. My parents were married for 50 years until my father passed away recently. My grandparents were still together until their death. So for you to say you don't believe black marriages last is crazy. All I can say to that is: Maybe not in your world.
