Frank and Hope's nest is the most inaccessible of all the geese we know and visit. To get to their nesting site, we have to walk across an open field and crawl beneath a fence that separates the field from the railroad tracks. Because of heavy snow, we are unable to visit Frank and Hope till the snow melts enough to allow us to trudge to the fence. By mid-April, we are usually able to get through.
