@abnerely yeah, I would agree with you there. Seems to me that is just like every human. We get so caught up in being "correct". I have alienated friends before in conversations becasue I had to prove they were wrong...even about the most trivial shit that I didn;t care about! The need to be right is overwhelming for us humans! We want everyone to look at us and say.. yeah, you're smart.

Poor guy talks in circles, one minute loves Obama, the next he equates him with a group he despises, the republicans.

Just imagine how big an improvement it would have been if bob dole had won in 96.... because he wouldn't have been a bad president - he wouldn't have been as good as Clinton, but he would have been competent - but what's more important is, then he would be running as an incumbent in 2000 and you-know-who wouldn't have even had the remotest chance of getting to run until 2004, and by then the country would have been ready for a democrat again if one didn't win already in the 2000 election.

Bill Maher is a pratical down to earth guy who makes more sense to me than what most people have to say.
