Nice dialogues by Robbin Williams...
He asks a fundamental question to Matt Damon's character...

  • I could watch this film over and over. . .it is that good a script.

Amazing that a pair of twenty-somethings can come up with something this insightful and deep and relevant.

  • @TheGamblingApocalyps you know what , you pretty much explained exactly what i think all the time, how does anyone know what they want? especially at 18 19 20 or 21? straight out of school with no experience of the real world? the hell?

  • You're the shepard! lol

  • f you...your the shepherd HAHAHA

  • @ESSENCEOFTEACHING

    Yup

Matt Damon won the awards for the film when he was 27; affleck was 25.

Smart lads. . . sure paid attention to what they read

  • @MichiganChet

The people that wrote & produced this film were in their twenty's?

  • The easiest answer to that question is figuring out what you DON'T wanna do and keep trying new things. All you have to do is not give up.

  • What does he want? What does anybody truly want?

For many people, perhaps even most people, this is a question that has no current answer. They don't know what they want because they haven't had enough experience in enough areas to make an informed decision on what exactly that is.

In school, they ask us what we want to be and we're supposed to figure that out with no experience. People find out they don't actually like what they thought they wanted to do once they start actually doing it.

  • Good movie n' all but I found it rather hard to feel sorry for him. Granted, physical abuse is severely fucked up but he just so happens to be one of the higher-lever geniuses that's also very good looking.

    Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! Poor baby!

  • "I want to be a shepherd"

  • @MichiganChet That's true !, almost impossible to happen again.
