  • “It doth not hurt,” whispered one faint voice.

“She will take your life and all you are and all you care’st for, and she will leave you with nothing but mist and fog. She’ll take your joy. And one day you’ll awake and your heart and your soul will have gone. A husk you’ll be, a wisp you’ll be, and a thing no more than a dream on waking, or a memory of something forgotten.”

  • Kinda creepy... but then again... it's a pretty creepy movie...

  • @JermzzzyFTW "They're cocobeetles from Zanzibar!"

  • @Nightmaremusik if you like this I very much recomend Arjune sound track.

Now it's a bit more actiony in some songs but try 'Buttersea' it's VERY good.

Also try 'army of angels' by nedeshda brennicke.

  • In English last term my class were learning about media. One thing we learnt was that nothing is put into a movie for no reason. Now I hear all those noises in the background of this song and can picture each ghost child's story; their adventures in the Other World, the way the Beldam sewn the buttons, their deaths.

  • @Nightmaremusik I agree

  • Someone needs to extend this! WITH ME MY PEOPLE?!?!?

  • this melody made me cry it's so beautiful...i could fall asleep to this.

  • I wanna find more music like this. I'm like 17, I love Coraline because I see this... underlying gothic world. Where there is constant... sadness almost, y'know? Even the happy scenes are really sad and melancholic. I guess I can be the depressive type from time to time, but not really. Still it's almost bewitching at times. Draws me in like, a siren. Sorry, I think there's a lot more to Coraline than a simple kids movie. Y'know?

  • creepy

  • @TheVelits The movie also changed it to "ate up our lives"- in the book I'm pretty sure the ghost children outright said that the Other Mother got bored of them and then ate them alive, imprisoning their spirits behind the mirror. It's hinted at in the movie though by the lines from the cat and the fact that the Other Mother never eats.
