He argued that if America is to become a better steward of democratization around the world, it must first wake up to the long history of imperialist corruption that has plagued its own democracy.

Libertarians who say they believe in "freedom"--what about poor people's right to freedom from the pain & suffering that goes with economic injustice---I like what Mill says(paraphrase) "liberty should be used in ways so as not to limit the liberty of others"--but isn't that what the rich & capitalists do when they fight for their liberty to be rich-when their extreme wealth disparity is one of the main reasons why there is class & poverty?

Advocating structural equality with no access to higher income is communism, comprade Well. And don't equate the latter with humanism. Time is ripe he identified himself. I still hope, though, he is too intelligent to actually believe what he is saying.
