This 7' tall and 10' wide creature, aka Strandbeest, resembling a dinosaur skeleton, constructed of flexible plastic tubes and powered by the wind, was seen strolling leisurely across the IUPUI campus on Thursday, April 12, 2007. It's the work of Theo Jansen, a scientist-turned-artist and kinetic (motion) sculptor; he hails from Holland. It was quite a sight!
