@Jackspadeproductions so we cant actually see the blackholes? just the matter getting sucked into them?
-
Largest black hole in the universe? You mean Queen Latifah?
-
@camodatypoon Wrong. Its accretion disk gives off light and radiation. It shoots out jets of X-ray radiation halfway across the galaxy. And it evaporates by shooting out positrons and electrons. All of these things are detectable by Earth based instruments. And THAT is how we know about them.

thats creepy music -.-
-
you cant see a black hole as it sucks in all matter and light around it!!!
-
@Glamberter that and the two jet streams of radiation that stream from the poles of a black hole are also a way of detecting them
-
@Glamberter Cause it sucks in gas befor it swallows it and all that gas heats up cause its more focused. U cant see the hole but you can see the area it affects and the gama rays it spits out.

How pointless. Some people shouldn't be allowed to upload videos. I was hoping to hear someone discuss this.
-
@Glamberter IT can also be observed in directly. in a binary star system, a black hole can be notice if there is a tremendous mass loss in the star and a movement in the pair.

RIP speakers
How are we so sure that black holes at what we think they are.
I mean, How can we see a black hole if it sucks in matter and light?

@Glamberter Gravitational Impressions. When you see the light of a galaxy refrect around a blac hole as well. Just the same as a straw has refractions in water.
