UAL59 (Boeing 767-300) SFO-KOA July 11, 2008

I actually tried making this video several months ago but the memory stick and the camera got lost somewhere in the house :P. The day these clips were taken were my first days using a camera (to record footage) :). In July my family went to Hawaii's big island for fives days between July 11th through the 16th. Since I was a Youtube-fan of Plane at the time I wanted to bring a camera and maybe take more than just pictures and clips of planes, so I did most of the stuff around the plane trips and some things at the actual island, but a number of them are still in mom's computer which isn't here right now :P. Unfortunately, the camera I had to use was years old but it worked, and it couldn't really zoom much either :P.

I'm not much of a talker, so I didn't say a word even if this video is long :D. Too bad for me it wasn't foggy that day since Iove the San Francisco fogs, it was foggy in the Sunset area of San Francisco but not in Downtown or the Airport, my math teacher says that's one unique and famous part of San Francisco.

The video starts departing Millbrae station on a BART train at some time around 7:30 AM, since the first train we took doesn't go directly to SFO. Next we go through the corridor to the terminal from the BART station (I couldn't record this lady who got stuck in the train doors). I record again in one of the lounges, typical international lounge, my mom's a frequent flyer, and otherwise we'd have to pay 50 bucks to stay, since our flight was domestic. There were windows leading outside so I took out my camera and looked at the taxiing planes, you can see my reflection!

The next time I record we're at the gate, nothing much interesting except the information screen, then the next recordings are inside the plane, I luckily got a window seat :D.

My camera runs out of battery fast, so I couldn't record the parts with the taxiing, but I did manage to record the takeoff and some of the landing, unfortunately the takeoff footage was ruined as you see in the video...

As I stepped out of the plane at Kailua-Kona it was just a rush of hot air, and made me very sticky and uncomfortable, it was hotter than last year's Hawaii trip to Oahu, and it made me very uncomfortable since I'm used to the cold-ish fog weather in San Francisco.

After we got our rental car we found a Costco somewhere to buy food for our vacation and to eat lunch or something, and we found somewhere around 20-30 passengers from this flight eating there. Did you go there?

i am probably going in a international plane but im switching planes and on the internet it said i have to wait 8hours in the airport so it is going to suck

Haha everyone does, I have a house on the island so when ever we go we hit up the Wiakaloa Grocery Store, ACE, KMART, and Costco cuz its the only place to get what you need
