  • Its amazing that a 90 year old murder of a forgotten H'wood director & a dozen forgotten screen suspects still intrigues people. There are many reasons: its unsolved. And it doesn't matter that the people in it are forgotten because they are H'wood 'archetypes'--the handsome director, the baby faced starlet and her vengeful mother; the star who's a dope addict; the gay lover; the drug pushers; the butler & on and on...people find this glamorous crowd fascinating!! Its like a H'wood "Clue"

  • Hollywood Babylon?

  • I find it hard to believe no one can get access to information involving this old murder? I believe everyone and anyone even thought of being involved is dead.

  • I have been intrigued by this case for many years and I'm so glad now to have the chance to see William Desmond Taylor in film. Thanks for posting this.

I truly believe this case will never bee solved. And, according to what I understand, the police does not allow complete access to the material they have filed away through the years son nobody who isn't authorized by the LAPD has access to it.

So will it ever be solved?

  • All of this and lots more is in the book"Dishing Hollywood"by Laurie Jacobson.

The lots more includes info on Hollywood's most notorious scandals.Great read!

    Mary-

  • Somebody knows and somebody wrote something down somewhere and someday, we will find it.

  • This video is very interesting. Thanks!

  • waht year is the film?

  • I saw a movie based on this case called Forever, It had Sean Young and Sally Kellerman in it. It was about the murder and mentioned siz actors instead of the ones we saw here, I thought it was just another screenplay and was surprised that it was an actual case
