Sanctus1 in Manchester

This is a video of what I saw on a visit to Sanctus1, Nexus Arts Cafe:
A Fresh Expressions Church in the city of Manchester, England.
It's a Church for people who don't like Traditional Church.
It had a relaxed atmosphere and attracts people from all walks of life especially those who are bohemian artists interested in 'creativity, community and spirituality'.
Oh yes, and coffee.

I talked to people who were there and one gentleman said how he liked this Church because although he is not a Christian himself, he said that instead of 'the feeling of entering an exclusive club' in a traditional church, at Sanctus1 he felt as if he was part of 'a family'. Another lady informed me that they took regular trips to the pub for discussions and games, they also hold band nights and weekly art installations.

My opinion is that I would go back again to Sanctus1 as I enjoyed the casual and arty atmosphere as well as it being a place where it is not exclusively meant for Christians, however I also felt it lacked content within the Sunday service. Listening to a short talk from Radio4 about the need for 'Sacred Space' (i.e. a time and a place to contemplate about life) lacked any reference to Jesus or God which leads me to conclude: It's a fantastic place to build friendships BUT is this place really neccessary?
