  • They say that solomon island panpipes and andean panpipes developed at the same time....weird.., but if you imagine the wind blowing across the top of a broken reed,still growing and the sound it makes,I suppose one only has to put two and two together,to harvest a bunch, cut them to different lengths, and do the wind's job for it!.... After all,the same kind of reed grows in both places. The sound of the wind..... Beautiful.
