you are totally correct. i would equate the national harbor with downtown DC, but without the museums. it's a shopping district with a nice view of water; that's it. the awakening is not that bad if you ignore the bad greek-inspired face. kind of looks like something out of silent-hill if you can look past the ridiculous face.

national harbor's ONLY problem is the fact that it's so secluded. it's going yo be very successful, but there has to be a better means of getting there.

this harbor, along with baltimore's inner harbor, means that there will be not one, but TWO major harbor destinations in our state. way to go, maryland!!!
