Hey man. For a guy that speaks Japanese (and has for most of his life) with everyone around him, his English has gotten pretty good. Learning English coming from another language is pretty damn difficult. The grammatical structures in English are drastically different from those in Japanese. So he's gotten pretty damn good over the last 5 years in improving his English. Hell, I wish I could speak his language half as well as he speaks mine. That's how much better he's gotten at it.
