Loveland Habitat for Humanity

Our Mission

We are a non-profit housing ministry. We help deserving families in our community to have a simple, decent, affordable place to live.

To do this, we raise money, recruit volunteers and work in partnership
with low income people needing housing. We believe that by working at a local level, we can better use our resources and make an immediate difference
in people's lives.

We work to provide a hand-up, not a hand-out. Habitat volunteers build houses in partnership with low income families. The houses are then sold to the families at no profit and no interest. * The average cost in 2007 of a Loveland Habitat home was $100,000. * Payments are set at an affordable level based upon the family's income. The average monthly payment including principal, taxes and insurance for homes completed in 2007 was $450 per month.
