From the Palmah to the Checkpoints

The Palmah was the elite striking force of the "Hagana" -- the underground military organization of the Jewish community prior to the establishment of the State of Israel. Tami Cohn, who volunteered to the Palmah in 1948 is now an activist in the human rights organization Machsom Watch. In this film she explains what brings her to the checkpoints in the occupied Palestinian territory to show her resistance to the occupation and to monitor the violations of human rights by the Israeli army. The film was shot in August of 2004.

@Ghost77Riders the problem is as long you have idf in the westbank and as long you have the blockade on gaza it is difficult for them to build theire own hospitals. theires a lot of strange burocracy which makes it difficult for them. For example inhabitants of Hebron told me they are not allowed to import german constructuion machines- for what reason ever.
