How To Enchance Windows 7

If you have 8GB ram DDR3... Can windows 7 32 bit support that kind of ram? And if I will upgrade to 64bit can it utilize the 8gb ram or just the 4gb ram? thanks

32 can only utilize 3.5GB of ram 64 goes 3.5 and above

@BaCoLoDmAjOriTy to be more precise windows 7 x64 can go up to 192GB. Home basic support 8GB, Home premium 16GB and Professional , Enterprise and Ultimate support up to 192GB of RAM.

32bit can only support 4GB 64bit more than a few terabyte

@MrTheGeekGuy hey both of you , i have seen lots of inconsistencies in your comments, 32bit can handle 4GB of Ram , however windows only recgnises 3.25GB, 64Bit can handle upto 1.04PB of ram but most motherboards are limited , the highest limit i have seen is the crosshiar iv maximus extreme witch can accept upto 32GB or DDR3 Ram....so in short chances are if your MB can hold the 8GB sticks then you should be running 64bit , in whitch case 8GB of would be fine.
