yes fingerprint is only with the older version; i rang them and asked them and they said they only do fascial recognition for the studios now. i wan angry!

i love love love love mine its amazing i got it yesterday and it works fantastic watched 7 pounds on it and it looked great but the sound isnt amazing so invest in a great pair of headphones!!! :) i would recommend this computer to anyone.

I agree with the last post. I looked at both options not knowing the difference or which was newer and the Studio looked easier on the eyes and more attractive than the shiny Inspiron.

Dell Studio is newer than the inspiron and has bette overall features, but why the hell did they go from the "no reflective" back to a shiny ugly screen that annoys you the light and other stuff in your background?
