A me invece piace molto questa danza.E comunque la Lollobrigida quando interpretò questo ruolo chiese e ottene di andare da un insegnante di danza perchè era necessario per calarsi nel ruolo.Adesso nessuno si preoccupa più di queste cose. @C6H12O6ish She didn't necessarily "need" one but she was definitely wearing one in this film. Later in the film she wears a yellow one outside her clothes. It would be historically inaccurate if she didn't.

She wore corsets for some of her other films as well and anyone who knows about corsets can recognize the silhouette immediately. Modern people who don't wear vintage undergarments don't know what to look for.

@TruNordics14 It is most certainly a corset. You can see the crease of the front busk at around 2:30. She had a thin waist, but those extreme curves are the result of steel boning.
