The American people expected we were going to find giant buildings with neatly stacked pallets of munitions each stenciled "Saddam's WMD" as you might find in some USAF facility in a colorado mountain. No, he had already transformed to underground programs with dual use commercial activities as a facade.
I've yet to see a war critic who says "bush lied" that had actually seen the Joint Resolution or AUMF on Iraq before I mention it. So they know only what the media regurgitated of Bush claims.

To be honest, I don't even care. Hussein was a terrorist, plain and simple. Not all terrorists fire the weapons themselves, some hide in spider holes claiming he's ready to negotiate while Marines yank him the hell out of there.
Under the terms of the '91 cease fire agreement we had every right to invade and remove Hussein from power if Iraq broke the agreement, which they did dozens of times.
