Well - he is buddies with (Australian) Ben Lee, who wrote a song about him called "I Wish I was Him." He wrote most of the songs for the big Lemonheads album "It's a Shame About Ray" in Australia. He briefly attended college in Saratoga, NY - near where this clip was recorded.

Ben Lee was still pissing in his jocks when Dando was on the scene in the 90's. You are referring to Tom Morgan of Smudge fame

I didn't mean Ben Lee wrote the songs on the lemonheads album. THere should be a new paragraph after that sentence. The "He" in the next sentence refers to Evan Dando - who wrote a lot of the songs in Australia.

Ben Lee was a young kid when he wrote that song I wish I was him.
