@hymiehymie That's what Amy Said when she was talking about this. The White House called her and told her she didn't follow the parameters of what the interview was supposed to be (there were none). They said it was only supposed to be 2 minutes long, not 30. Even though he could have hung up anytime. The said she was going to lose access for it.
Well, Amy said "Never trade your principals for access." The "Access of Evil" as she referred to it.

This explains a lot as to why Amy has backed down. Listen to Bills tone towards her. He postured himself to intimidate her in a feminine manner. He used his manhood crap to posture himself. I didnt trust him then & dont trust him now. He acts like a nice guy look beyond that. Once a liar always one. Biggest most professional con man of the highest order. Very scary. He loves the sound of his own voice. Hilary & Bill r a tag team. Things r worse than people understand today 2011.

@Yoseman1 Story is he didn't know what Democracy Now was, was just calling the list he was given, and heads rolled for this! (for him having been scheduled to go on there). And- if I recall - he was so pissed he was looking for some retribution for Democracy Now - like getting them banned from the White House Press Room if I recall.
Even though Bill flat out lied about Amy's on-air conduct, we nonetheless live in a society where being obedient, subservient, and respectful to unjust power, lies, and perceived authority, and conforming to "accepted" social decorum, are more cherished and important then being critically minded, inquisitive, intellectually curious, and trying to delve for honesty and truth.

@MrCritic12 I wouldn't say he lied. He saw it that way because he was so used to the sort of deference you describe.

Clinton gave fairly good answers but he blew it when he said that the questions were somehow disrespectful? God bless King Clinton.

@rpgmakr I would agree with that assessment.

Clinton endorsed Jon Corzine a couple times. Jon Corzine who was a former head of Goldman Sachs. Jon Corzine who was head of MF Global when MF declared bankruptcy and a couple million dollars went missing from customers' accounts. Check out Gerald Celente's videos on MF Global.

@arch3223 who gives a shit, really? Clinton is a busy guy and has met and endorsed a few people in his time. What has this got to do with his interview with Amy Goodman? Is this your best shot?
