  • If you were really making up a bunch of Aerogel, you would be a millionaire. This stuff is not Aerogel. Hold a blowtorch up to it. I dare you!

  • Para hacer esto en casa, tomar el vinagre y el silicato de sodio. Diluir con agua a 1:1. Tome cantidades iguales de ambas soluciones. Ácido revolviendo constantemente. Goteo de silicato añadir. Filtrado. Forma de gel en cuestión de minutos a varias horas dependiendo de los coeficientes de concentración.

  • Esta reacción es conocida desde 1640 como el silicato de sodio condensación. Aerogel proceso se inicia el mismo que el gel de sílice, salvo el proceso de secado es diferente, principalmente.
