DIE NEW INTRO, YOU DONT BELONG IN THIS WORLD!!!

Dracula really gets Richter there, saying that he is in that castle to kill him, because of his faith, and not free will. That singlehandedly made me love the new intro.

I hate how they cut the "Perhaps the same could be said of ALLL RELIGIONS" part. It was my favourite.
I'll take a wild guess and imagine that... back then, no one would take an offense on games and stuff, but nowadays, if you FART the word "black" or "jesus" or anything polemic, OMG WE MUST SUE YOUR ASS.

i like the old one better sounds more interesting as for the the new lines seems to me abit dumb down abit to understand ..old one i truly umderstand where hes coming from if pay attention the new just explains to much for people to understand ha

Because the new intro's dialogue is more impactful with its words. Dracula's questioning as to why Richter is coming after him makes you think about Richter's motivations.
And while the old line about mankind being a "miserable little pile of secrets" is cool in a cheesy way, saying mankind is a "cesspit of hatred and lies" has more weight to it, especially given Dracula's motivations.

@Bloodlyshiva Thank you!
You clarified much for me! (XD)

@TonRobo Drac's words paint him as some dark Jesus. 'ill needs'= does not need.
-
Why does mankind ill needs a savior such as him? (O_o)
Never understood that...

I don't understand all the love for the new opening. At least the old one was unique and entertaining. The new one is just a little overdone, using more words to convey the exact same thing, and yet falling flat and being completely devoid of personality in the process. It's very much akin to most dialog these days. I suppose people just like eating the same shit.

Personally, I like the new dialog better. Sure the old one is nostalgic and filled with narm. But for a game as epic as SOTN, this intro is more epic,
Hm, prefer the old lines better.
The voices are much better in the PSP version though.

@YuffieDon The only voice I can't stand in the new version (not shown in this video) is Alucard, who is now voiced by Yuri Lowenthal (Sasuke Uchiha). But overall the new actors give a better performance (especially Dracula and Maria).
