I can't canoe or surf, I stand on the bank. I'm beginning to think you boys need to be regulated so the Kayaks go on the river in even numbered years and the surfers in odd numbered years, with registration plates so you can all be identified.

@InstantExpert49 This isnt always the case, just like in surfing when people begin they dont always have the best of control but with increased skill levels and experience I would argue that kayaks can surf with as much control as surf boards. This isnt meant to stir up an argument as its obvious that sometimes kayakers do get out of there depth and get in the way of surfers but please dont go around assuming that kayakers in general have no control because it isnt always true.

yeah, i was there just near the apple tree pub, no surfers got to us though :S saw some trees and seaweed going up after half an hour
