  • That was him? Uch. No wonder why I was never keen on the UY English dub. That series could have been huge in the U.S. if they had just gotten the same guy who did the voice of Kintaro Oe from Goldenboy. He would've brought energy to that character!

  • @Djclyve

Speaking of polar opposites, there's one I think my interest you, Scott.

Michael Sinterniklaas did the voice of Ataru Moroboshi from Urusei Yatsura. He's also famous for doing the voice Leonardo in Ninja Turtles. We all know how lecturous and perverted Ataru is. Whereas Leo is more diciplined and respectful of others. Would have been interesting to see a mutant turtle with raging teenage hormones though, lol.

  • I think I got an episode of Captain N on VHS. It was included on this one tape containing all sorts of random TV shows. I only bought it for the James Bond Jr episode included on it. I might have a look at that Captain N, see if I can spot Ms Terzo.

  • You want to talk about polar opposites... I just got Captain N. the Game Master on DVD and found out that Princess Lana is voiced by Venus Terzo, the same voice actress as Girl-Type Ranma. Lana is as feminine a character as you could think of, and Ranma... as we all know, is burly, growly and nasty.

  • same id like do go some day to

  • The one I'm talking about is called the ICON, and I used to go every year in May at Stonybrook College (NY). I haven't gone in a long time but I'd love to go back some day.

  • Wow and they sound so different, I would never imagine that one, you know a lot of these! ^^

Another mexican one: The actress that does the voice of Akane, is also the voice of one of Kagome's friends. Funny how the main characters in Ranma ended being the friends of the main characters in Inuyasha :)

  • Another fun fact: the actresses who do the voices of Shampoo and Kasumi also do the voices of Yuka and Sayuri
