Hi Folks,

here is it, the BOSS FRV-1 Fender '63 Reverb clone, doenst sound like the Fender Unit, but comes really close, and could be easily used as backup, if the Reverb Unit fails (or if you're low on cash (like me) and can't afford the real deal) ;-)

  • Is this pedal good for funk?

  • @McFro95

    dunno, don't play any funk.

  • I used to have the 410 Hot Rod DeVille with real Fender spring reverb and it didn't clank and pop like this. I want a reverb pedal for my Marshall head, and I loved the reverb in my Fender DeVille, but it didn't clank and bounce around like this sounds.

  • @theShowStopper321 then why you sold it?

  • Exodus!

  • @Fredikb1977

yes!!!! you're the first who got the tune!!

  • Thanks! Nice demo of the cool sounds this pedal can produce.

  • To start the processor to simulate a real tube sound, and then a rubber woman.

  • How would this pedal compare to the other boss reverbs, such as the '65 deluxe or the normal RV-5 digital reverb?

  • My friend has this and it pops and squeals if you have the dials up too high, I think that the dwell was a touchy one.

  • they should of named that pedal the dick dale special

  • Hey man you play the flutes in Eluveitie?

    great band!!!!

  • @rkharper Cus I didn't really like the Fender amp sound, but loved the reverb. I want to get a pedal to do that type of verb for my Marshall tube head with no verb, but all the spring model pedals obnoxiously clank, pop, and bounce a lot more than the real amp verbs do.

  • 1:18, is that surf nicaraqua?:D

  • Thank you, sir, as I found it very helpful.

  • Thanks man!

  • Twang!!

i think im going to get this pedal!!

nice demo, best one so far!

  • ELUVEITIE!!!!

  • Muito foda! Vou procura um pedal deste!!

  • I own one and even though it's an improvement over previous boss stuff, I still think it leaves a lot to be desired and fell short of my expectations.

  • it sounds ok... for about twice the price you can buy a used fender tank unit (the real thing)

  • Ddude, cool playing. cool pedal. 2 thumbs up

  • Thanks for actually using the reverb at a high level...this will work much better than my unreliable holy grail which craps out all the time. I play out of Fender Bassman reissue amp and it's dry but I play psych surf grungey drone stuff so I need reverb!!!!!

  • The built in reverb on the amps are nothing like the stand alone unit.....You can make adjustments on the unit where on the amp you can only turn it up. Hope this helps ya.

  • I see that you've a wonderful Fender super reverb amp. Why you don't use the built in reverb from that amp?
