Lightsaber Duel

Me and Mike's first GioPan Studios Short!!! Shot by Alex in a familiar-looking backyard, this short duel was made to test our editing skills in preparation for our first huge fight, now delayed until either this winter or next summer. Watch for some bad lighting towards the end, and even worse acting when a certain someone gets punched...just kidding, Mike. By the way, the reason we're swinging so slow is that all we had were the heavy, bulky plastic toys because we had no money and couldn't find anything better around my house. That will all change soon...

You guys have great potential! Good Charisma when fighting, sabers, sound, and music were great. On camera work however, you really need to underexpose your camera. Either in Postproduction or in the camera itself, most of the film was blown out. Still great job 4/5

About the camera, it turns out we used the wrong cable to connect it to the computer so it all came out strange. I've since fixed this so my next work will look much better.

good music, sound effects. the lightsabers were hard to see at a few parts. and i think that one guy was holding the dooku saber wrong. or was he just doing it to be different?

That was me, and yeah I just hold it how it feels comfortable. Also, we found out after the movie was made that our camera settings were screwed up so that's why it looks waaaay too bright.

Not a bad effort, sound good, music good, effects good, it's just the fighting needs work if you don't mind me saying so, a little bit more emphasis and emotion, and a tiny bit more on technique

Yeah, we just threw it together in a day and we only had the plastic toys to use, but for our next one we're going to have much more preparation. And thanks for the comment. I like feedback, positive and negative.
