  • we should use clean energy but the fact still remains that GLOBAL WARMING IS A FRAUD!!! PEOPLE YOU NEED TO WAKE UP!!! CNN IS FILTERED NEWS!!! ALL DEBATES ARE ONE SIDED AND THROUGH OUT FALSE NUMBERS ALL THE TIME!!! STOP WATCHING ALL CABLE NEWS IT WILL BRAIN WASH YOU!!!

  • So...facts:

We don´t understand how climate change really works.

We don´t know our effect on climate change.

Most of the data the IPPC uses is so bad that they could aswell make up some data that fits their beliefs - what some people do...

So, why are we talking about saving the world while we don´t know if climate has reached it´s optimum right now? It has changed since it exists. Who are we to stop it? Start to think -.-

  • Debate? No. Argument? No. Discussion?...? NO. This is a one sided Copenhagen Science let down and it should be closed down.

  • What kind of debate has one sided panel of experts? Waste of time money and energy. Man made climate change??? Arrogance!

Guess this debate was not about the climate... but all about Copen'!

  • How is that guy on the panel a skeptic? In what sense? He is no more skeptical than any of the others. The guy who asked why documentaries like The Great Global Warming Swindle are ignored, was answered by them ignoring it! The 'skeptic' said something like lets start by saying that it's fact that Global warming is being effected my man (something like that). No one even said anything about the documentary being 'bad science' or anything, they just ignored it.

  • How is this a debate?

All the quest are clearly one sided!!

  • Global warming aside, i agree with spokenwordnerd we need to focus on the real issue. Humans coexisting with our planet to ensure a bright future, Peace.

  • @selwynr The Earth naturally goes through climate cycles, asshole. The climate has been changing over the last 15,000 years since the ice age, It repeats itself. Do some real research instead of breastfeeding off the media. It's all a propaganda scare by the UN to get bills signed. I bet If we lived during the last ice age the UN would come up with some hoax on how we provoked the climate change. fucking ridiculous!

  • My name is Martin Powell - I wrote/read the poem at the beggining of the above.

For me wether Global Warming is a man made problem or not is irrelavent, we know that we cannot continue to live on this planet in the way that we do. The real issue here is how can we learn to live WITH the planet in order to secure our existance as a species for the long term and these increasingly enviromentally focused times present a wonderful oppurtunity to build a better working model for humanity.

  • If we could give people real choices instead of consumer choice, then maybe we would begin to see some real changes. If we do not challenge the way we live (our outer securities, like our job) then what are we debating?

  • i tought this was a debate.looks like they all agree

  • @soulburn2k5

Couldnt agree with your comment more - I also found this to be the case.
