Depressing to think that most of what was in this so called "preview" never made it into the final game.. Although Spore was quite an enjoyable game, it never, and never will be, what was promised.
Most of what didn't make it to the game was cut due to graphic/memory limitations, they wanted to make sure they had a lot of consumers.. So dumbed it down to the mere shadow of what of could of been.
Total shame.

If i were to make this, you could first create your planet. once it can support life then you can start a cell stage (real cells) which lasts for a fairly short period of time, then move on to the micro stage (which is like spores cell stage)... you have a whole solar system of possobly livable planets with only your life on them, or maybie a whole galexy! whichever i decide you will have others of your kind made by other players.

i realy like what the creature editor has become.
i've playrd it for hours now.
and to think : the demo is only 1/4 of the creature editor witch is 1 of the 6-7 editors witch are about alitle less then half the game.
imagen how long i could play spore!
