A good landing is one you can walk away from. An excellent landing is one where you can use the plane again afterward.

@602780573 Its a 3 blade prop. There is no use in stopping it, its going to contact the ground either way.

@plsniper a crash landing is when you are in the plane, an emergency crash landing would be if i was in that sumbitch......i dont fly well and watching all this youtube doom and gloom aint helping....but i watch anyway

@tvoice1 not true. ATC must speak in a country language or English up to pilot decision. In countries where English is not welcome like Spain or France lots of pilots speak in their languages... but always they can switch to English anytime.

Hmm I think.... I'd come in low and a bit fast with full flaps, shut the engine/fuel off, and bleed off the speed at 10th above the ground until I heard the horn, then let it come down. Saves some money on the engine/prop work, and seems safe enough. Great job tho, I like how he chose the grass rather than the runway

@DiamondPilotDan He tried to stop the propeller already in the air at stall speed but w/o effect. Anyway it was a quite profitable crash engine was short to overhaul period so a new one was paid by insurance company instead by owner.
