PEAK OIL is a real problem and there is NO real solution to it. 30 years from today you will see total economic collapse, you will see lots of conflicts fighting for the last bits of oil... 100 years from now civilisation a syou know it will be no longer be.. No amount of solar energy or any other energy will provide you with energy to match fossil fuels Nuclear Energy is too damn unstable and what are you going to do with Nuclear Waste!!!

what about the alberta oil sands 100years of oil are there, plus there is oil everywhere undiscovered huge reserves you need to realise how big this planet is they still havent touched the arctic and you can bury nuclear waste

Oh sure, when the oil finally does run out we will find a way to get through it. It'll be the same way we have with every other earth-shaking crisis.

Simple logic should tell you that everything on this planet is finite, including oil. Even oil companies are admitting that supply is starting to lag behind demand and the only way to cover the gap is with alternative fuels.

This guy is talking crap - prices have gone up here in the UK - Ghawar is dying -m suddenly oil has dropped in price due to the credit crunch which means those in power want us to consume until it runs out then we are all dead meat. Its as if they want the culling of the human race by shutting down oil to happen now by creating a new oil shock, only this time there is no going back. Oh and SUVs cause havoc on the school run . ..

They found 500 billion barrels of oil on South Dakota, North Dakota basin. When? IN 1951! Now we have the tech. to recover it..............
