this is my review on the sks rifle. This particular rifle is a Yugo Sks. It is chambered in 7.62x39 with semiautomatic fire. The sks replace the mosin nagant and the ak 47 replaced the sks. The Sks is still used by many different countries around the world. I do not own this rifle it belongs to a good friend of mine.

  • @Joseapari V stands for VICTORY. UK = United Kingdom. you must have one of the 10 000 rifles that were shipped to the UK during the cold war. that was supposed to incite a workers rebellion...guess they over estimated the moxy of the British "workers" LOL

  • i have an sks a1 that has VUK writen in the stock under the bolt i have never seen that on an sks does anyone know what it could be.

  • just a comment on the cheapo ak's from the middle east. Alot of those are knock offs which probably have the wrong headspacing, cant shoot worth sh**, puctures primers, keyholing, trigger slap, every failure you can imagine and probably will blow up in your face. Even the richest afgan will buy at least a chinese ak.

  • a great way to remove the cosmoline is to disassemble it and to put the parts on a tray and throw them in the oven for a while, the cosmoline wille melt off and the parts should be left unhurt. :) I wouldn't recommend using that tray to cook food with afterward though.

  • @rayd408

HA, if you actually go to the middle east to get it, you will pay less than 100 american dollars for it. the only problem? getting it back to the states without getting caught.

  • less than that like $50

  • Thanks dude.

  • look for the video on illegal gun market in pakistan

  • I know were im going

  • That stock is not bad looking. A little sanding and a rub down with boiled linseed oil will bring out the beauty of the wood.
