while i realize this is a smart ass joke video, this would really work if you bypassed the power supply, and wired battery directly to the motherboard. if the motherboard is old or low quality, you might fry it from the inconsistent voltages. 8 AA bats for cpu power, 8 AA, 3AA(under volting 5v rail), 2AA(undervolting 3.3v rail) for mobo power, another 8 AA for graphics card, and 3 or 4 for the hard drive. it'd all run for about 5 seconds, then the bats would die :P

Tell me why would you post such a video? Better yet, climb the power pole and connect the TV directly to the transmission lines, free power! Oh, don't forget to hold onto both lines at the same time.
